Offerings

How a session unfolds

Each session begins with a moment of exchange over tea. A simple time to meet, attune and gently enter the experience.

The session takes place lying down, fully clothed, on a futon on the floor.

Comfortable clothing is recommended to support relaxation.

The work is primarily carried out through sound and vibration.

The bowl may be placed gently on certain areas of the body, allowing a direct and subtle perception of the vibration.

The guidance adapts to your state in the moment, within a sensitive approach, listening to the body and to presence.

The session is not something to do, but something to experience.

The benefits of singing bowls

Singing bowls act through vibration, which spreads through the body and invites a deep sense of relaxation.

The sound does not aim to correct, but to open a space where the body can settle, regulate itself and rediscover its own balance.

Over time, some people report:

• a calming of the mind

• deep physical relaxation

• improved sleep

• a sense of grounding or lightness

• a release of tension

In some cases, vibration may support the relief of certain physical or emotional manifestations, including tinnitus. These particular situations may require a specific approach with the bowls.

Each experience remains unique, and depends on your state in the moment as well as on how the vibration is received.

These sessions are part of an approach centered on presence and well-being, and do not replace medical care.

The session is not something to do, but something to experience.

Session testimonials

"Namaste! I have taken singing bowl therapy while Mr. Phillippe visited Nepal, generally I don’t feel very positive towards therapy(this could be our cultural mindset) and I felt little bit hesitant, But later I decided to do. We had around 1 hr session in a room where all the facilities were not available as he was travelling to Nepal and we knew that to have all the facilities is bit difficult.
While having session, I felt little bit awkward and at the same time excited. During session I felt the warmth of hot water from singing bowl which relaxed my shoulder very much. The sound came from bowl made my mind more relaxed. I felt wave got into my body when hit, which gave me the feeling which I have never experienced before.
To be honest, I felt that my pain on my shoulder has gone for 2 days. Any one who has a desk job must do this therapy. Mr.Phillippe did it in a very professional way. I recommend him defiantly and will do later too. And thank you Mr.Phillippe for taking my awkwardness out to have a therapy."

Rajendra — Office Worker, Katmandou, Népal

"Thank you for the opportunity to share my experience.
The singing bowl therapy was a unique and relaxing experience. I really enjoyed feeling the vibration of the water inside the singing bowl—it created a pleasant sensation that I had never experienced before. The warm water used during the singing bowl massage felt very soothing and relaxing, and I also loved the sound of the water splashing.
With my eyes closed, I became much more aware of every sound, vibration, and touch during the session. It felt like my other senses became more active. The only small discomfort was lying face down for a while, as the rug felt a little hard for me.
The deep relaxation made me feel sleepy, and I even drifted off to sleep for a short time before waking up again.  Overall, it was a different and enjoyable experience that brought relaxation and peace of mind. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a calming and peaceful experience."

Concert testimonials

In 2023, I had the immense pleasure of attending one of Philippe Charles Schmidiger’s  concerts of singing bowls, a Swiss artist with many facets. It was an incredible spectral experience where I was carried away by the beauty of the combination of sound, movement and light. I felt as if I were in a dream, where everything was beautiful and both my mind and senses were deeply nourished. Bravo Philippe, for allowing us to experience something touched by a sense of the divine.

Carla — Communication Specialist, Geneva
